An Owl's Dinner
We had no trick or treaters for Halloween this year, but this spooky owl visited instead. There she was, directly across the street, surveying our front yard.
This is totally good. Spooky, but good.
I have been plagued this year by a rabbit that has ruined the plants in our front yard. He has chomped an ornamental grass to the ground, ate my sunflowers, made my low growing sedums disappear, and has eaten the hollyhock foliage. A woody aronia shrub has been sheared. Bad rabbit. Bad rabbit.
The owl looks hungry. The owl needs dinner. Where are you rabbit?
