Road Trip Day Four

We stopped in Hays, Kansas at mid afternoon.

It was cloudy all day. And it rained. Sprinkles started in Kansas City and then a real rainstorm pelted us all across Kansas. Not one of our better travel days.

The cold that Jim felt coming on since we left Connecticut has blossomed into a full on raging head cold, with a bit of fever. He's uncomfortable but soldiers on at the wheel. We stopped early for his sake.

Tomorrow we'll have a bit of a drive into Denver, but the road will be drier and we'll still arrive in plenty of time to meet Greg after he gets out of work.
