Chasing Winter

When it's March and it seems like winter is hanging on too long and when will it get warm enough to sit outside and will the patio chair cushions ever dry out . . . .

    . . . you just need some lemon yellow Peruvian lilies to make things better. 

Jim got these alstroemerias at Sam's Club and they lasted almost three weeks. They actually looked better and better as they dried out.

These were nice too -- summery golden sunflowers that he got yesterday.

We're doing our best to chase a snowy, cold, wet and windy March away.
