A Post About Nothing

This whole post is simply pictures of my Japanese maple in autumn in Santa Fe. You can stop reading now, and go find something else to do, but take a look. This is a pretty tree in fall.

See what I mean? Blue skies and deep green junipers frame it. Sunshine tickles its fine dissected leaves.

Okay, it's not yet a big tree. It's little and shaggy and hasn't grown into its form yet. It will.

Still, this is a tree that shines in autumn. I can't tell you why it pleases me so but it does.
