Tulips in Unsettled Times

We came home three days early from rainy, cold, locked-down California. We had a lovely time with family while there -- although I never got to see my son at all, since he was sick and in quarantine. (He's fine, still at home, isolating.)

Back in Santa Fe I finally got to sit on my deck in bright sunshine. Everything is cancelled or moved to online access -- my cooking class, book group, a seminar at the botanical garden, any gathering at all. We're at just the beginning of a long slog toward a strange normal. I am, as everyone is, very unsettled.

But I have tulips coming up. There's that.
