Reds, Pinks and Blues

These are the colors blooming in my June garden:

A scrambling red rose in the corner by the kitchen door

But it doesn't scramble where I want it to . .  it goes all askew

'Royal Candles' veronicas do light up like blue candles

Pink 'Peggy Martin' rose scrambles along the fence nicely enough

We have no TV so we come out here and sit and look at the framed wall hanging. Huh.

Under the frame on the fence is a lovely line of blue flowering amsonias

They have sweet little stars for flowers. This low little hedger is called 'Blue Ice'

Reds, pinks and blues all together

That's it for now. This year June has been oddly cool (cold at night), strangely unsettled (monsoon storms every afternoon already) and we have yet to run the air conditioning. June is usually very hot and dry, the worst month of the year until monsoon rains come in July.

But it's all topsy turvy this season.

And we have no TV. Still adjusting to that as well.

It all looks lovely! All I did was buy a very small potted miniature rose for my kitchen window sill. . . And promptly killed it. I do that a lot

The list of things I have planted and promptly killed is astounding -- and I've been at this for a long time!
