It Only Snows on our Walk
When it snows and then melts, only two spots in the whole town remain snow covered. Only two.
One is our front walk. Seriously, last week there was no snow on the sidewalks or the streets or anywhere in our neighborhood or anywhere in town . . . but our walk was coated.
The second spot is at our back gate. When you opened the gate there was a patch of light snow on the driveway and it was slippery.
That spot in the snow is where I slipped. Not good.
Jim is obsessive about shoveling and goes out to clear as soon as he can. Then flurries come and the only two areas where we come and go -- our front walk and our back gate -- get covered again.
Our house faces north. Don't buy a house in a northern climate that faces north.
You will have to shovel when there is hardly any snow and you may slip when you go out the gate in your bedroom slippers to get the mail.
