It Rained. A Lot.

While we were gone, scattered and intermittent rain showers came through Santa Fe over several days. My neighbor texted me the delightful news, but didn't say how much we actually got. 

When I came home, there was almost two inches still standing in my rain gauge.

1 3/4 inches and a bit of slime at the bottom

Everything was wet. Really wet.

It doesn't get better than a week away with family and a return to a fine start to monsoon season at home. 

But nothing tops the best part of my time away:
