Return From California
I kissed my baby granddaughter goodbye and we left sunny, warm, (windy) California with its lush lawns and greening hillsides and returned to this.
It's always good to be home after a long driving trip, but really . . . the dissonance between warm climes and snowy Santa Fe is a bit much. We're having our house painted this year, and the painter was supposed to start this week. There will be a slight delay in the project.
Still, it's nice to be home. But boy, do I miss this little California cutie chasing bubbles in her back yard:
How come bubbles pop when you poke them? She wants to know.
