A Christmas Recipe

The formula is:

Traditional carols playing while Christmas cookies cool on the rack waiting to be frosted.

Add a steady light snow coming down outside in fat white flakes all day long.

Then, tired from your exertions in the kitchen, sit in the living room and admire the tree.

That is a Christmas recipe for a day in mid December in Santa Fe. Snow, cookies, carols and decorations. We even wrapped some presents to ship.

The grinch who lives with me enjoyed it too. I could tell -- he's been whistling Frosty the Snowman ever since.
