Say Can You See
Last year we walked up to the community park to watch the fireworks that the town sets off in the mall parking lot a mile away. It was windy and the show was delayed but finally went on. We had fun while we waited watching the little kids run around the park with sparklers.
This year was calm and windless and the show went off without a hitch. We stayed home this time and watched it all from our front sidewalk.
The fireworks went off directly over the neighbor's house and our view of all of it was unobstructed and seemed as close as when we were at the park not far away.
Very festive and an easy walk to the kitchen for refreshments.
