Holiday Break

It's time to take a blog break. 

I've been busy getting ready for the holidays (and three late December birthdays coming up). There was a bookgroup luncheon and book exchange, a movie date with three friends (we saw Hamnet, a five hanky movie) and of course shopping and some baking and decorating the house a bit.

I even traveled out to California, had a fabulous time with the grandkids, and came home pooped, as a two year old and almost five year old will exhaust you. There were two holiday concerts at their preschool and Christmas preparations and lots of time just running around playing games.

We even baked gingerbread men. Someone was awfully proud of her work.

Didn't she do a great job decorating? By the time I left to come home they were almost all gone, eaten up, heads first then legs and arms, in the proper way that you eat a gingerbread man.

 

So . .  happy holidays, enjoy this busy month and I'll take some time off now.
